What do you think the most important social media “skill” is and why?

Never think you know it all. Nobody does. Be willing to explore, try and adapt.

Tell us about a successful online collaboration you formed with another nonprofit or business.

My Social Media Institute has developed social media campaigns and strategies for 60 nonprofits in the greater Richmond area. We develop strategies that can be maintained with the resources available. I believe that every organization needs an individual strategy.

Why should attendees come to your workshop?

It’s never too late to get started or to adopt a new platform strategy. I’ll show you how to do it.

Set the tone for the rest of the day with this prep course on social media channels and strategy! You will explore the benefits of using each of the major social media networks, how other organizations are marketing with them, and some dos and don’ts of each channel.  As a bonus, you will learn more about Pro Bono resources in our community!
