News from the Community: Help Us Define our “State of the Sector”
Your Input is Needed to Define our ?State of the Sector? by 2/19
ConnectVa partner, GiveRichmond needs your help with the Nonprofit Finance Fund’s (NFF) 7th annual State of the Sector report! In 10 to 20 minutes you can take the survey anonymously, give a voice to our region?s nonprofits, and have the chance to win a small grant or other great prizes!
WHY THIS SURVEY? Last year, the Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) released the results of its 7th annual State of the Sector report, providing interesting insight into nonprofit perspectives about topics like operational capacity, demand for services, planning for the future, or measuring impact. While NFF collected over 5,000 survey responses, only 138 came from Virginia and most of those were concentrated in Northern Virginia. With your help, we believe we can raise the voice for nonprofits serving our region. To that end, The Community Foundation Serving Richmond and Central Virginia is partnering with the Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF) to promote regional participation in their annual State of the Nonprofit Sector survey available now.
This is your chance to be heard, but with the promise of anonymity. We will not have any access to any identifying characteristics of an individual organization. It is important to us that organizations answer the survey honestly and accurately. Furthermore, the more local responses to the survey, the more powerful and useful the analysis will be.
You will need approximately 10-20 minutes and input from a senior manager with knowledge of high-level finance and operations. National results will be published in April, with our regional analysis and executive summary available in May. Please complete the survey by Thursday, February 19th.
