The Amazing Raise officially kicks off tomorrow morning at 6 a.m. and runs through 6 p.m. Thursday evening. While the donations have yet to start rolling in, some nonprofits have already become the recipients of several pre-event prizes:

Go Viral! Video Prize –

Comfort Zone Camp received $1500 as the most popular Amazing Raise video based on reach (determined by combination of views, times watched, likes and shares on YouTube).

There was a two-way tie for the $500 runner up prize between Goochland Free Clinic & Family Services and Richmond SPCA.

Spirit of Giving Prize –

Goochland Free Clinic & Family Services received $1500 for their Amazing Raise video submission that best promoted the spirit of giving and Offering/Arts in the Ally received $500 as the runner up for their video submission.

Start the Commotion Promotion – 

Housing Opportunities Made Equal of Virginia (HOME) received $1000 when the the winning individual who registered to “attend” the The Amazing Raise on Facebook, selected them as their recipient (over 1300 people registered to attend!).
